Abby Reist, RP (Qualifying) (she/her)
Assessment Specialist

Hi! I’m Abby! I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and assessment specialist with a passion for helping people better understand themselves. I believe every person’s experiences tell a story, and assessments provide an opportunity to connect the dots—exploring the strengths, challenges, and patterns that shape who we are. My goal is to create a space where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported throughout the assessment process.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Queen’s University and a Master’s degree in Counselling from Tyndale University. Through my education and training, I developed a strong foundation in psychological assessment and diagnosis. Alongside those experiences, my work as a psychotherapist with children and teens has deepened my understanding of the different ways people experience and navigate the world, particularly as they grow and develop. It has also given me a greater appreciation for how neurodiversity can shape a person’s everyday experiences, strengths, and challenges.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me enjoying the outdoors or exploring something creative. I love spending time in my flower garden, visiting the lake, and creating through knitting, crocheting, embroidery, or trying something new. These activities allow me to slow down, stay grounded, and continue celebrating the curiosity and creativity that make each person unique.
